How do you complete Boss Up in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Previously, in the Ready Player Fun quest, you tried to find a way to entertain Vanellope after she moved to Dreamlight Valley. Now, you'll have to play pretend with Vanellope, "battling" the "bosses" of Dreamlight Valley in her make-believe game. Your first task before setting out is to craft three potions, which are really three portions of boba tea.

To make the "three" potions, you'll have to craft the following items. We've also got all of the ingredients you'll need to make each of the boba drinks.

  • Coconut boba tea: milk, sugarcane, mint.
  • Mint boba tea: milk, sugarcane, mint.
  • Raspberry boba tea: milk, sugarcane, raspberries.

Having done this, return to Vanellope, and she'll reveal the first "boss" you'll have to battle: Ursula. To "fight" your boss battle, head to Ursula's house and speak with her. You won't actually have to fight Ursula in reality, and once you've completed your awkward exchange you can return once again back to Vanellope.

How to find the mystical sword in Boss Up

After speaking with Vanellope once more, you'll be tasked with obtaining a mystical sword, made by Vanellope herself. To find it, you'll have to head to the Forest of Valor. You'll find the sword eventually sticking out of a tree trunk (reminiscent of the legend of King Arthur), which you can retrieve and add to your inventory.

You can find the Pixel Sword and Shield in the Wardrobe section of your inventory. When equipped, you'll wear the sword and shield on your back, which you'll have to do before speaking again with Vanellope. With the sword equipped, Vanellope can be found in the Glades of Trust, where she'll reveal that Scar is the final boss of her game.

How to make the Scar Lure in Boss Up

To lure out Scar, you'll have to make the Scar Lure. Use the list of items below to make the Scar Lure, and you can find the items in the locations we've detailed. Once you've collected all of them, you can make the Scar Lure at a crafting table.

  • Herring - caught in white ripples at Dazzle Beach and Glade of Trust.
  • Kingfish - caught in blue ripples during the night at Dazzle Beach.
  • Softwood - can be found in any region.
  • Fiber - can be crafted from seaweed at crafting tables.

Now with your Scar Lure, you can place it on the group. Next, speak to Vanellope, and you'll venture to Scar's cave and "fight" him as the final boss. After besting him, you'll be able to retrieve a map from the cave floor, which leads to a hidden treasure. However, this marks the end of the Boss Up quest.
