October 19, 2022: We added a countdown for the Disney Dreamlight Valley Scar's Kingdom update.

Looking forward to the next new Disney Dreamlight Valley update? Though one was released mere hours after the game's release, it was far from the content update you'd expect in a game like this. More and more kingdoms, worlds, and characters are set to arrive far into the future, and we have a timer telling you when Scar's Kingdom is coming.

Any Disney Dreamlight Valley update from now on should be a major content patch. The game is only in an Early Access period for those willing to pay for the privilege, with the eventual 1.0 release set to make the game free for everyone and far more content-rich to boot. That means anyone who waits until it's free will have far more content to play than those who'd paid early on.

For more on the new Disney life sim before we dive into the details, check out some of our guides. We've got pieces up on the Disney Dreamlight Valley fishing rod location, how to get Disney Dreamlight Valley star coins fast, and even how to change your clothes and hairstyle whenever you want.

When is the Dinsey Dreamlight Valley update today? - 9am EST in your local time

Disney Dreamlight Valley update time

The long-awaited Scar's Kingdom update for Disney Dreamlight Valley arrives at 9am EST October 19, 2022. If you're not sure when that is in your timezone, just refer to the fittingly magical timer above. It automatically detects your timezone and calculates the translated release time. So if the timer has ended, the update should be out.

We say should, but the exactly release time for the new Disney Dreamlight Valley update can differ slightly depending on the platform you play on. Some take longer to roll out their patches, but you should still be prompted to update sometime today.
