Following the full frontal, blush-inducing release of Baldur’s Gate 3, all eyes are peeled on Dragon Age: The Veilguard to deliver another raunchy RPG adventure. While previous games in the series pushed video game raunchiness further than any other AAA title, but the games had never—for lack of a better term—hung dong.

With the Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date closely approaching, fans are already excited to start romancing its cast of companions. All Dragon Age games have featured softcore love scenes between the player-made protagonist and their mates. While upper nudity exposes chests on male, female and other characters alike, BioWare won’t confirm if full-frontal nudity is included.

Via Inside Gaming, BioWare PR is proud state that Dragon Age: The Veilguard has half-naked characters, but won’t confirm whether or not character models have genitals. In an article by Game Informer discussing nudity in Dragon Age 4, BioWare said that bottom nudity is something they want “fans [to] discover for themselves in the game”. What?

Dragon Age: The Veilguard romance will obviously have some sauciness, but it’s likely not going to be as spicy as Baldur’s Gate 3. Even if it’s not the raunchiest game that fans are hoping for, PC modders are bound to make the game something that’ll definitely be only for adults.

It’s worth noting that there are limits to the amount of raunchiness that can be included in a AAA game. Not only are ratings board somewhat stricter with nudity in games compared to movies, but so are platform holders like Xbox and PlayStation. With so many restrictions in place, you should never expect officially released video games to go full smut.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the first traditional BioWare RPG since the release of Mass Effect Andromeda and the first Dragon Age game since Inquisition in 2013. With slick combat and a return to the classic BioWare formula, The Veilguard is shaping up to be something great.
