When the credits wrap, you can pick up where you left off with your new title.

This kicks off the unlocking of post-game challenges, including the Temple of Trials.

Head back to the Dragon Queen's Castle, where you'll find a portal to Heaven that is accessible now.

This portal opens the way to a series of challenging dungeons where your party's strength and preparation will be put to the test.

The portal leads through dungeons, but they now feature much stronger enemies.

Locations such as the Pyramid, Faerie Cave, and Maw of the Necrogrond are now crawling with monsters that possess high health, defense, and agility.

Many enemies have dangerous abilities, including multi-turn attacks and powerful status effects like sleep and paralysis.

They also have spells that can instantly knock out your party members.

Spellcasting is usually blocked, so having weapons with unique effects or items that work like spells is smart.

After making your way through these dungeons, you'll reach Cloudsgate Citadel.

It's essential to save your progress, restock, and gear up for the last leg.

From here, you’ll climb Citadel Tower, which is shorter than the previous areas.

Even so, it is still filled with random encounters that can end your journey if you're unprepared.

At the top of the tower, you’ll encounter Xenlon, the strongest boss you’ve faced thus far.

You’ll need to defeat Xenlon within a set number of turns to earn a wish. For your first wish, the time limit is 35 turns.

Once you’ve defeated Xenlon, you’ll be presented with a list of wishes.

To unlock the Temple of Trials, scroll past the visible options until you find a hidden blank space at the bottom.

Picking this secret choice will catch Xenlon off guard, yet he'll grant your wish and give you access to the Temple of Trials.

When the wish is granted, return to the Castle of the Dragon Queen and bring forth Ramia, your flying partner.

Travel north until you notice a strange anomaly in the sky that looks like a portal. Enter this portal to arrive at the Temple of Trials.
