Wondering how to get Harspuds in Dragon's Dogma 2? We've got you covered.
Dozens of resources litter the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2, allowing you to create new recipes to heal yourself or enhance your equipment. One of the earliest and most common resources you’ll find on the map are Harspuds, which have a few different variants to collect.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Harspud location
One of the earliest side quests in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is called “The Provisioner’s Plight,” and it requires you to gather three Harspuds. This is likely the first time you’ve heard of the resource, but you’ll certainly want to know what Harspuds look like and how to acquire them so you can keep a solid stock of healing items at all times.
Fortunately, Harspuds are located all across the map in Dragon’s Dogma 2. From the starting area around the Borderwatch Outpost to the capital city and beyond, you can find Harspuds in most locations. Harspuds are medium-sized plants that grow on the ground and have pink vines popping out. There are also some green leaves and large brown spheres, which are the Harspuds themselves.
You can harvest a Harspud by walking over to the plant, pressing the “Gather” button, and then adding it to your inventory. With the Harspud in your inventory, you can go to the “Combine” menu and use the resource to create recipes by combining it with other materials. Harspuds are especially integral in the crafting of different Roborants, which restore health and stamina.
As you progress in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll find other variants of Harspuds as well. For example, there are Ripened Harspuds, Princess Harspuds, and so on. These variants are required for different recipes, but they all have the same basic look as a regular Harspud when you loot them in the world.
You’ll generally find the more advanced variants of Harspuds the further south you go in Dragon’s Dogma 2. However, you want to ensure you’re always looking where there’s grass, as Harspuds won’t grow in the sand or on rocks. Your best bet is to look in a forest or field and start searching from there. Luckily, the entire walkable map is mostly made up of grass except for one area in the later part of the story.
How to complete Dragon's Dogma 2 The Provisioner's Plight quest
For those of you who need to finish up The Provisioner’s Plight side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, here is a map screenshot of where you can find all three Harspuds you need:
At that location, you’ll find a small pavilion that has several Harspuds growing underneath it. If you follow the yellow quest zones on your map, though, you should have no problem finding all the Harspuds you need plus more.
That’s everything you need to know about finding Harspuds in Dragon’s Dogma 2. As long as you’re in an area outside of a major city, just look on the ground and you’re bound to find a few of the plant in no time.
