To survive the chaos and take down hordes of enemies, your weapons are everything in Dynasty Warriors: Origins.
The stronger the enemies, the more you'll need to keep your gear in good shape.
That means buying new weapons and selling the old ones to make sure you're always ready for what’s next.
This article explains how to buy and sell weapons to prepare your character for whatever comes your way.
How To Buy & Sell Weapons
Buying weapons in Dynasty Warriors: Origins requires a trip to a town or settlement.
These spots are packed with shops, some of which sell weapons.
When you arrive in a town, you’ll go straight to the main menu, where you can explore different sections, including the Shop.
Head to the Shop menu and click Buy
to see what weapons are up for grabs.
Every weapon has its own stats, abilities, and traits, so just take your time picking the one that feels right.
You can sort weapons by type, like swords, spears, or other specialized gear.
The weapons cost will change based on their grade and traits, so expect to pay more for high-quality gear.
Once you find a weapon you like, just confirm your purchase to add it to your inventory.
To sell weapons in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, you need to visit a town or settlement, too, as selling is only possible from these locations.
Once you’re in a town, walk in and open the menu to find the Shop
. Go over to Sell
and take a look at your weapon stash.
You can pick which weapons to sell by selecting them from your collection.
When you select an item, a prompt will show up to ensure you’re not selling something you’d rather hold on to.
Watch out because once you confirm the sale, the weapon is permanently removed from your inventory and can't be retrieved unless you get it back through other means.
Selling weapons earns you gold, which you can spend on new gear or upgrading your character’s equipment.
Make it a habit to sell off obsolete or unwanted weapons to create more space and pad your wallet.
