Elite Draft Eligibility
In less than four weeks time, a minimum of ninety players will take their first step towards a career in eSports, as they enter the Elite Draft.
As many of you continue to battle your way through the Gfinity Challenger Series, we’re excited to share the official requirements needed to earn the opportunity to sign a contract with some of the largest organisations in eSports.
In order to preserve the grassroots structure of the Gfinity Elite Series, players who are contracted to a team as of Monday 8th May will be considered ineligible for the Elite Series Draft, taking place on the 12th May. Players that declare themselves eligible for the draft will be required to sign documentation stating that they have no association to a team before being allowed to enter the draft process.
While professional eSports players are not permitted to enter the Elite Draft, they are welcome to enter our online competitions held on the Gfinity Challenger Series platform.
So, what are you waiting for? Your legacy awaits.
