Escape From Tarkov: New Additions In Patch 0.12.7
While the highly-anticipated Streets of Tarkov map isn't coming as part of this update, there are plenty of things to get excited about.
For one, Scavs will now be able to loot bodies. That means they can grab additional firepower, and will also communicate with each other when sensing an opposing force.
Scarily, they'll also push as a group if they feel they have the upper hand. Add to that actions like magazine checks, consuming food or drink and checking if their cohorts are friendlies when they first bump into each other, and it'll be tougher than ever to work out which ones are being controlled by players.
The Customs map is being expanded, with existing buildings being explorable, and Shoreline is getting a boss called Sanitar who is capable of healing himself and his squadmates.
Finally, the update also adds fresh weaponry. The Mossberg 590A1 Shotgun and FN GL40 Grenade Launcher are coming, but players will have to find them out in the world.
