Pokémon GO Fest July 2022 - Ultra Beasts, Event Balls, and Encounters

The second portion of Pokémon GO Fest 2022 takes place on the first weekend of July. The headlining promotion is the arrival of several Ultra Beasts, with an exclusive legendary available in the various event-exclusive locations. Those are as follows:

Pokémon name
Location
Date(s)
Pheromosa
Berlin
July 1 - July 3
Buzzwole
Seattle
July 22 - July 24
Xurkitree
Sapporo
August 5 - August 7

As you can see, only players in Berlin, Seattle, and Sapporo will be able to access these Ultra Beasts for now. They could easily arrive down the line in raids or other promotions, but for now they're limited to Pokémon GO Fest ticket holders in these cities.

For attendees of these in-person events, you'll also get access to exclusive event balls, called Beast Balls. Given to you by Rhi from the GO Ultra Recon Squad, they should help you catch any difficult raid bosses.

Equally, there are a few performance boosts you'll get if you're partaking in these real-life events. All attendees will get 1/2 hatch distance and exclusive field research tasks. That's alongside nine free Raid Passes, as well as an increase in Team GO Rocket balloons. On top of that, there are some location-specific perks, as follows:

Location
Performance boosts
Berlin
4 extra Special Trades, reduced Stardust cost, collection challenges
Seattle
4 extra Special Trades, reduced Stardust cost, collection challenges
Sapporo
4 extra Special Trades, reduced Stardust cost, collection challenges

When Are The Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Hours?

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 UK COUNTDOWN

Pokémon GO Fest took place on June 4 and June 5, 2022. On both days, the events occurred between 10am and 6pm local time, adapted to where you are in the world.

As such, there was no concern about missing an event due to it taking place too late or early in the day. Instead, you had the entire day to work on special research and catch the event-specific Pokémon out in the wild. Everyone with a ticket got 16 hours of live events during the weekend, with plenty to play for.

Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Habitats

On the first day of Pokémon GO Fest 2022, there will be four distinct habitat hours, where Pokémon based around certain locations are highlighted, appearing more frequently in the wild. These habitats are city, plains, rainforest, and tundra, with different Pokémon featured in each. See below for a list of the Pokémon that will appear more during each of these habitat hours.
