The FFXIV 6.35 release date is coming up next, and we're slowly starting to learn more about the next big Final Fantasy XIV patch. Being an odd-numbered patch, it won't have the world-first raid races we all like to watch, but it will offer something for those who want to feel the raid highs without feeling its lows: new 24-man content.
Down below, we'll collect everything we know about the FFXIV 6.3 patch. We'll focus on the release date first, before diving into the content that's trickling out. After that, we'll look into when we'll hear more about the next big update. It's always an exciting time.

What is the FFXIV 6.3 patch name?
It'll be known as Gods Revel, Lands Tremble, alluding to both the 24-man content and the Archfiends featured in the main scenario quests.
When is the FFXIV 6.35 release date?

New content for FFXIV 6.3
Tataru's Grand Endeavor
Hancock from Kugane is back. It looks to be taking place by Hell's Lid, which means we'll likely see the auspices again.
Tales of Newfound Adventure
Taking place just outside Radz-at-Han after the 6.2 storyline, this one will likely continue once you've completed the 6.3 MSQ quests.
Further Hildebrand - 6.35
He's back, and Pu-Pu is, too. They look to be being beamed up like Scotty, but it also has the air of a Mr. Bean opening. Of course, this will continue the FFXIV relic weapon chain as well. Gerolt is bodyslamming a dwarf.
New Tribal quests (6.35)
The Loporrits will be the next Tribal quest chain. This one's for the crafters out there. So if you've been waiting for an easier way to level your crafters from 80 to 90, hold on. Carrot mount incoming? Maybe something from the Smiletron.
So far, the only thing we're certain of in regards to FFXIV 6.3 is that it'll continue two things - the main scenario quests, and the 24-man Myths of The Realm raid set to take place after the Aglaia instance introduced in patch 6.1.
New Dungeon - Lapis Manalis
It looks like this one isn't taking place in The Void, which suggests we won't be seeing one of Golbez's archfiends in there like we did the last. Like Snowcloak, we start in a gold area and go deeper into the ceruleum caverns.
New Trials - Normal and Extreme
Though they're not giving the boss name away for now, it's very likely to be another of Golbez's archfiends.
Main scenario quests
If you haven't completed the 6.2 storyline yet, here's your spoiler warning.
With Golbez finally making his entrance in the previous patch, it's likely time to put down the final two of his four archfiends, which will likely result in us going toe-to-toe with the man himself in the next update.
Along for the ride will be Zero, Zeno's previous Reaper Avatar who we found skulking around the thirteenth while in search of the dragon Azdaja, one of Midgardsormr's brood and big sister to Vrtra.
Beyond slapping around two more archfiends, expect us to get closer to Azdaja. Zero is now in the Source and has likely been gorging on apples for months. She'll be ready to get back to work putting The Void right and helping Vrtra rescue his long-lost sibling. Assuming there's anything left of her.
Raid content - Myths of The Realm Part 2
FFXIV 6.1 saw us venture into the skies to take on the deities our characters aligned their birthdates with at the very beginning of our tales.
In what turned out to be little more than a friendly competition of strength rather than the demanding dominion of god-like powers gone rogue, we're not out of the woods yet. With twelve total and only four fought back, expect the second leg of the Myths of The Realm 24-man content to have another few attempt to put us in our places.
We're no strangers to fighting man-made gods, and we've already proven we're up to the task of tackling the real deal, too. What's four more? We'll soon see.
On launch, FFXIV's 24-man raids can be a challenge. They're never as mechanically heavy as the eight-player battles, and they're far more forgiving of player mistakes, but when 24 people are running around like headless chickens in the first few days, a lot can go wrong. You'll need patience if you're running this one early.
This one looks to be taking us to some lush fields of green. That's enough to suggest Nophica will be one of the gods we'll take on in the latest set of 24-man
Sophia Unreal
Each major patch shakes up an old battle, tuning it for today's gear and adding new mechanics that help freshen it up.
6.2 saw the return of Sephirot (not Sephiroth, they're different) kicking off the potential return of Sophia and Zurvan, the two which followed Sephirot in the Heavensward expansion days.
Assuming there hasn't been any kind of delay in remaking the battle, FFXIV 6.3 will bring Sophia back into the meta, replacing Sephirot as the Unreal Trial you'll want to complete to please Khloe Aliapoh.
New Ultimate Raid
Following on from the Thordan and big battle against Nidhogg in the last Ultimate raid battle, FFXIV 6.3 will see another completely reworked fight challenge the best of the best to another World First race.
The fight itself hasn't been revealed, but we're expecting it to take cues from teh Omega raid series from Stormblood. It could pose an alternate timeline of events, such as if Alpha died in the final moments, so look forward to that coming two weeks after the patch releases.
New Deep Dungeon - Eureka Orthos (6.35)
After a lapse in the content since Stormblood's Heaven-on-High, Deep Dungeon content is coming back with Eureka Orthos in 6.35. It's an Alagan-themed dungeon that's likely found underneath the Crystal Tower.
To get there, though, you'll need to have completed the Endwalker quest at the end of patch 6.0 and have reached level 50 in Palace of the Dead. The developers view that requirement as a tutorial for this type of content.
If you haven't played a Deep Dungeon like Palace of the Dead or Heaven-on-High before, they're randomized floors for up to four players where you start at level 1, level up fast, and try to get as far as you can without being defeated and sent back to the start of the last ten-floor set you entered.
The dungeons are filled with booby traps, gear upgrades, and monster mechanics that can easily put a pin in the run of anyone who doesn't properly strategize before diving into each room.
For Eureka Orthos, you'll start at level 81, so you won't have many skills locked out from the start.
Duty Support for Heavensward

The next expansion to the Duty Support system finishes off the rest of the Heavensward MSQ dungeons, giving solo players an easier way to get through the content on their own terms.
Job adjustments
Paladin rotation will change a lot. Fully, according to the developers. We won't see the tweaks until the next live letter, but it's sounding like Paladin's at least will need to relearn a lot of their kit.
PVP changes
PVP skill adjustments and the start of Series 3. Crystalline Conflict will hit Season 5, and a new arena for it will come into play. You can see a shot of that in the image above.
Crafting and Gathering Relics (6.35)
From 6.35 onward, crafters and gatherers will be able to work toward new relic tools. This echoes the Skysteel tools from the previous expansion. We can't see them in action just yet, but a certain shirtless man is back for a second go. No, not the bald one.
New Custom Deliveries
Custom Deliveries return as a way to quickly gather up crafting and gathering currencies. Alongside the Lopporit Tribal quests, 6.3 and beyond is looking like a great time to level up your Hand and Land quests. This one's handled by the Pixies featured in Shadowbringers.
New spearfishing locations
Likely tied to the Custom Deliveries, Upper La Noscea will become the first part in A Realm Reborn to allow for diving. The area specifically appears to be the waters around Wanderer's Palace.
New map dungeon - The Shifting Gymnasion Aganon
The Shifting Gymnasion Aganon will feature as a new treasure map dungeon for Elpis-centric treasure maps.
Island Sanctuary updates
New sanctuary ranks and visions are coming with 6.3. New item rewards are in as well, and new materials, crops, animals, and isleworks handicraft, too. The gryphons and tigers were shown. It's also considered a smaller update, with bigger ones expected every two patches.
You'll be able to collect all from yields at once, release animals upon the capture of another, and various interface windows will be reworked for clarity. You'll be able to save your orchestrion settings, visitors will hear the selected music, and you'll get a notification when visitors arrive to your island.
New Leap of Faith course
For one reason or another, Gold Saucer updates are coming, with a new course added to the Leap of Faith being literally the only one.
Housing changes
In FFXIV 6.3, new wards will be added to all residential areas, meaning more houses for everyone. Six wards, six subdivisions. This means 1,800 new plots per world. They'll still be split between FC and private plots and will go up for sale via the lottery system at a later date.
Housing demolition will also begin again.
UI improvements
Damage type icons
Damage types will be included in combat and flying text, with icons denoting whether physical, magical, and unique damage was inflicted.
Buff and debuff timers
Debuff and buff timers can be displayed on the party view as well. This is apparently a way to fight back against the use of third-party tools, some of which were used to add this functionality despite them being against the terms of service.
UI theme
We can't see this one yet. Even the producer hasn't seen it.
Portraits in Duty Finder
Portraits will be displayed in the Duty Finder. In a 24-man party, you'll only see those of the 8-man squad you're a part of.
Additional fashion accessory actions
Going forward, you'll be able to cast glamours and dye on retainer equipment without removing it. You'll also be able to cast glamours on your own equipment directly from your retainer's inventory as well.
Miscellanous
You'll be able to filter newly added items at Sundry Splendors vendors, which should go a long way in ensuring you're looking at new gear and not old, useless stuff.
And that's about all we know for now. There's every chance new tribal quests will arrive, expansions to the Island Sanctuary, and maybe even some new crafting recipes, but we'll have to wait until the live letter to learn more. Job changes and new gear are assured, but there's little to talk about or show right now.
