Bundesliga Ratings Refresh Predictions

Expect a number of big upgrades in the German Bundesliga this winter, and some considerable boosts to some already meta cards in FUT.

Robert Lewandowski - 89 > 91 (+2)

Lewandowski currently has 46 goals in 44 games in all competitions for Bayern and is arguably the best number 9 in the world currently, so deserves at least a 90 OVR card.

Joshua Kimmich - 86 > 87 (+1)

Expect a position change to a CDM for Kimmich this Winter, and a potential +1 to highlight his solid form for Bayern in the Bundesliga.

Timo Werner - 83 > 86 (+3)

Werner has been on fire for Leipzig this season, with 20 goals in 20 appearances, and 8 MOTM awards, deserving of a big upgrade this Ratings Refresh.

Jadon Sancho - 84 > 86 (+2) 

The Englishmen has built on his breakout season for Dortmund last season and has already bagged 12 goals and 12 assists this season.

Serge Gnabry - 84 > 86 (+2) 

Gnabry has been solid for Bayern this season, bagging 7 goals and 6 assists in 14 appearances, and should be set to receive a nice upgrade.

Thorgan Hazard - 82 > 84 (+2) 

A regular starter for Dortmund in a number of positions, Hazard has bagged 13 goal contributions this season in the Bundesliga, meaning an upgrade is likely.

 

Filip Kostic - 82 > 83 (+1)

With 5 MOTM awards to his name, as well as 4 goals and 8 assists, Kostic has been Frankfurt’s standout performer, enough to secure at least a +1 boost.

Marcel Sabitzer - 81 > 83 (+2) 

Another standout for Leipzig this season, the Austrian has bagged 7 goals and 5 assists and should be receiving at least a +2 upgrade.

Milot Rashica - 79 > 82 (+3) 

Bremen’s standout man this season, with 7 goals, 3 assists and 2 MOTM awards, Rashica should be getting a nice boost into the 80s.

Denis Zakaria - 78 > 81 (+3)

The Swiss powerhouse in the midfield has shown great progression in the Gladbach midfield this season, with consistent performances that should see him receive at least an 80 rated card.

Achraf Hakimi - 79 > 81 (+2)

Playing more of a right-wing back than a right-midfielder this season, Hakimi has been a real asset to Dortmund, contributing 6 assists and 2 MOTM performances.

Benjamin Pavard - 79 > 81 (+2)

Another card with its position changed, Pavard has been playing more at RB than CB this season, he should be set to receive at least an 80 rated card.

 

Patrick Herrmann - 77 > 80 (+3) 

5 goals and 4 assists for the German for Gladbach this season should see him receive a small upgrade.

Marcus Thuram - 75 > 80 (+5) 

A big upgrade is predicted for the Frenchman, following his strong start to the season, with 10 goals and 5 assists in all competitions for Gladbach.

Amine Harit - 76 > 80 (+4)

The Moroccan playmaker has been a standout for Schalke this season, having already bagged a POTM item, as well as 3 MOTM awards, and should be getting close to an 80 rated card.

Christopher Nkunku - 77 > 80 (+3)

The French 22-year-old has had a stellar season so far for Leipzig, with 4 goals and 7 assists, as well as 2 MOTM awards from CM in the Bundesliga.

Erling Braut Håland - 73 > 80 (+7)

We all know about this man, 7 goals already in 3 appearances for Dortmund, a future star in the making, and should be set for a massive upgrade.

 

Suat Serdar - 75 > 79 (+4) 

Schalke’s top goalscorer this season, Serdar has bagged 7 goals and 4 MOTM awards, meaning a decent upgrade should be in the pipeline for the 22-year-old.

Florian Niederlechner - 74 > 79 (+5)

11 goals and 6 assists for the German makes a big upgrade very likely this winter, taking up from a silver card to a gold item.

Alphonso Davies - 72 > 78 (+6)

The young Bayern LB has flourished this season in a more defensive role and is rated as one of the top 5 performers this season in the Bundesliga by WhoScored.

Robin Zentner - 73 > 77 (+4)

Despite Mainz lingering around the relegation zone, Zentner has been a top performer, with a number of MOTM awards.

Rouwen Hennings - 74 > 77 (+3)

The 32-year-old has certainly still got it, bagging 11 goals for Dusseldorf this season, and should be bumped up to a gold item.

Laszlo Benes - 70 > 76 (+6)

The Gladbach youngster is tipped to receive a sizable upgrade this season, with SoFifa tipping the playmaker to receive a +6 upgrade. 

Expected Release Date for Ratings Refresh

Last year, we saw Bundesliga upgrades released around February 17th. I’d expect a similar release date this year, depending on how EA structure their promos.
