Serie A Ratings Refresh Predictions

A considerable shakeup is due for the Serie A Ratings this Winter in FUT, with a lot of big upgrades expected for some younger breakthrough talents, and some nice upgrades to some heavy-hitting attackers in the league.

Ciro Immobile - 86 > 88 (+2)

The top goalscorer in Serie A by a mile, with 23 goals in 18 appearances, Ciro Immobile has to be in for at least a +2 upgrade this year.

Dries Mertens - 87 > 88 (+1)

5 Goals in the Champions league earned Mertens a TOTGS item and should earn him a small upgrade.

Luis Alberto - 84 > 86 (+2)

The Lazio playmaker tops the assist charts with 11 assists this season, plus has 2 In-Forms and a Headliner card to his name in FUT. He’s due a +2 I’d say.

Romelu Lukaku - 85 > 86 (+1)

Great to see the big Belgian regaining his old form in Serie A, with 14 goals this season in Serie A for Inter. I’d expect a small upgrade to show his return to form.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic - 85 > 86 (+1)

Despite not receiving any In-Forms, Savic has been on good form for Lazio, with 3 goals, 4 assists and 4 MOTM awards in Serie A this season.

Radja Nainggolan - 83 > 85 (+2)

Nainggolan should definitely be in with a shot at a good upgrade, having bagged 4 goals, 5 assists in Serie A, with 2 In-Forms and a Headliner card in FUT.

Josip Ilicic - 84 > 85 (+1)

10 goals for the Atalanta forward as well as a couple of in-forms in FUT should mean he gets at least a +1 upgrade.

Lautaro Martinez - 81 > 84 (+3)

The 22-year-old has been a breakout star for Inter this season, bagging 10 goals in Serie A and 5 Champions League goals, and should be set for a big upgrade this Winter.

Duvan Zapata - 82 > 83 (+1)

A solid performer for Atalanta, with 6 goals in 8 appearances, as well as 1 In-Form item in FUT.

Andrea Belotti - 82 > 83 (+1)

9 goals and 4 MOTM awards for the Torino frontman, I’d expect at least a +1 upgrade for his efforts.

Luis Muriel - 80 > 82 (+2)

Despite being mainly a substitute, Muriel has still managed double figures in goals this season and is deserving of a higher rating.

Chris Smalling - 80 > 82 (+2)

The Englishman has found his form for Roma, picking up 1 In-Form and a Headliners card in FUT, and should be a due a good upgrade.

Joaquin Correa - 80 > 82 (+2)

A solid contributor of goals for the Lazio side this season, Correa has been tipped for a small upgrade by SoFifa.com

Lorenzo Pellegrini - 79 > 81 (+2)

With 7 assists and 2 MOTM awards in Serie A for Roma this season, Pellegrini should be set for at least a +2 rating boost.

Domenico Berardi - 78 > 80 (+2)

The Sassuolo winger has been in fine form this season, bagging 9 goals and 3 assists from the wing, enough to secure a decent boost.

Theo Hernandez - 76 > 80 (+4)

What a season this man has had. Currently Milan’s top scorer, with 2 In-Forms and a rumoured Headliner card, Theo should be set for a big upgrade this Ratings Refresh.

Stefano Sensi - 77 > 80 (+3)

Sensi has broken into the Inter starting 11 with a handful of goals, assists and MOTM awards this season, and should be set to hit 80 overall with a +3 upgrade.

Joao Pedro - 76 > 79 (+3)

Despite not being an out and out striker, Joao Pedro has 13 goals this season for Cagliari and should get boosted well above his current 76 rating.

Sandro Tonali - 75 > 79 (+4)

The highly discussed wonderkid from Brescia is set to receive an upgrade, having earned 4 assists this season from centre midfield, with links to big sides rumoured too.

Riccardo Orsolini - 76 > 79 (+3)

The 22-year-old Bologna winger has been brilliant this season, bagging 5 goals, 4 assists and 3 MOTM awards.

Nicolo Zaniolo - 74 > 78 (+4)

An established member of the Roma first team, Zaniolo should be set to receive an upgrade to a gold item.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo - 73 > 77 (+4)

Establishing himself at RB in the Napoli team, Di Lorenzo has done well this season and should receive a gold RB card for his efforts.

Gaetano Castrovilli - 65 > 75 (+10)

The 22-year-old midfielder has been Fiorentina’s star man this season from midfield, with 3 goals, 2 assists and 3 MOTM awards, and should be due a massive upgrade.

Expected Release Date for Ratings Refresh

Last year, we saw Serie A upgrades released around February 19th. I’d expect a similar release date this year, depending on how EA structure their promos.
