FIFA 21: How To Do A Fake Shot

Unlike most dribble moves, this isn't mapped to the shoulder buttons and right stick.

Instead, it requires charging your shot, before cancelling it.

It's not just handy in the box, though, and can help create space anywhere on the pitch.

Pair it with a powerhouse of a player, and you may be able to hold an opponent off while turning to open up a killer pass.

While it's easy to do, control-wise at least, it's something that takes practice to master.

You'll want to either hold cross (Square on PlayStation, X on Xbox) or shoot (Circle on PlayStation, B on Xbox) and then tap A while pulling the direction you want to turn to.

It's a great way to throw a defender off, and if you time it when they're slide tackling, you can often win a penalty or a free-kick by protecting the ball with your body.
