Starting off with our English Icon Wishlist we have John Terry, Chelsea’s main man and one of England’s top CBs over the past 20 years.
During his prime between 2005 and 2009, in which he was included in the FIFPro World XI for 5 consecutive seasons, Terry won over a dozen domestic trophies with Chelsea.
While not the paciest icon, he’d certainly be a rock in defence, and a player that would make it into many ex-Premier League/Chelsea teams.

A Ballon D’or winner in 1956, Matthews was known for his pure speed and skill, as well as his unrivalled crossing ability.
FIFA has always been in need of some ‘golden oldies’ types of icons, and Stanley Matthews would certainly fall into that category.

Known for his wand of a right foot from set-pieces and crosses, Beckham would be a brilliant wide playmaker to add into FUT, should EA obtain Beckham’s pricey image rights!

What a save, Gordon Banks! We’ve all seen his world-class save from Pele in the 1970 World Cup, and with the 1966 World Cup under his belt also, there’s no doubt that Banks should be receiving a FUT icon card.
Regarded by many as the greatest English goalkeeper of all time, Banks was also named as FIFA’s Goalkeeper of the Year on 6 separate occasions and is ranked as the 2nd best keeper of the 20th century, behind Lev Yashin.

An integral part of the 1966 World Cup-winning England team, Charlton was known for his majestic playmaking abilities in midfield, as well as having a rocket of a long shot!
There’s no doubt that an English Icon Wishlist isn’t complete without Charlton, so here’s hoping he’s included in the FIFA 21 selection!
