Wondering how long it takes to beat Final Fantasy VII Rebirth? This guide will let you know if you should cancel your plans for the next weekend.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the follow-up to Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. In this instalment of the FF7 Remake series, we follow Cloud and his friends as they step outside of Midgar during the quest to save the Planet.
If you’re still making your way through Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, we can help you unlock the Fat Chocobo summon materia or get Aerith’s Bladed Staff.
How long will it take to beat Final Fantasy VII Rebirth?
According to a post on X, the developers behind Final Fantasy VII Rebirth have stated that beating Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will take approximately 40 hours. This is about the same amount of time it takes to beat Final Fantasy VII Remake with the DLC missions tacking on an additional 4 to 5 hours.
Do keep in mind though that this is how long it will take to go through the game’s main story. In the same X post, the developers go on to say that tackling all of the side content in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth may take up to a staggering 100 hours to complete.
The original Final Fantasy VII was packed with sidequests and mini-games, and Rebirth looks to stay true to that experience. We know that Cloud and company will be visiting the Chocobo Farm in Rebirth, so a sizeable portion of those 100 hours could be allotted to capturing and breeding your own army of giant bird mounts.
We’re also aware that the cute and cuddly Cait Sith will be joining your party, meaning a visit to the Gold Saucer is guaranteed. For those who are unaware, the Gold Saucer is an amusement park that has all the telltale signs of a massive time sink.
And that’s how long it takes to beat Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. To help you prepare for the sequel, we can show you how to increase Stagger Bonus or help you locate all of Don Corneo’s Vaults.
