The FIFA 22 Flashback promotion went up a notch this evening, with arguable the most exciting SBC card of the year to date.
Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar Jr is the latest player to be handed a Flashback card, with an 87-rated version of the Brazilian added into the FIFA servers, one which celebrates his early seasons with Santos, between 2003 and 2009.
It's a downgraded card as far as the ratings are concerned, but there is a couple of notable in-game upgrades that have been applied to this card. Should you be looking to add him to your squad? Let's take a look.

As we have already alluded to, it is a downgrade as far as Neymar Jr's overall rating is concerned, with the Brazilian handed an 87 OVR. Despite hope of a move to a more central role, Neymar has remained as a left winger.
Neymar has seen his pace (95 OVR) and shooting (85 OVR) upgraded when compared with his 91-rated base card, although there have been small downgrades to his passing (80 OVR) and his dribbling (93 OVR).
There has been no change to the Brazilian's skill moves or weak foot, which remain at a 5* and 4* rating respectively.

Flashback Neymar Jr Review - Is It Worth It?
This Flashback Neymar Jr is four ratings lower than his 91-rated base card, yet he's coming in at some 100,000 coins more, but is there just cause for completing this SBC?
We believe so. This is a card that is not dissimilar to the Flashback Cristiano Ronaldo that was added in FIFA 21, yet he came in at almost 400,000 coins upon release. This is a really fair price for this card.
Don't be fooled by the lower overall rating too. If you're a player who likes to drive to the byline before cutting back inside and getting a shot away, then this Neymar Jr card will likely be more effective for you thanks to his increased shooting and pace.
