A discovery in Fortnite's game files suggests the store may be getting a revamp.
It had been rumoured that Epic was planning on updating the in-game shop in the near future.
The code has revealed some exciting features that may be coming to Fortnite's new and improved store.
Fortnite Store Revamp
The information surrounding the store revamp was revealed by @FireMonkey.
He's recently made a video on the store revamp using @HYPEX, @Lucas7Yoshi and his own information collectively.
The dataminers discovered a new shop tab in the game files labelled 'Cataba'.
The tab has been receiving a lot of updates recently suggesting it is being developed currently.
@FireMonkey has suggested the updates cryptic name is Epic trying to make it more difficult for leakers to figure out future updates.
A 'Customise Your Hero' tab has also been found in the code.
The leakers have predicted this is a tab where players will be able to directly customise their own cosmetics.
Overall, this update appears to be seeking to create a more diverse and expanded shop.
When you're spending your hard-earned money on the game, more options and features in the store is always positive.
In terms of a release date, there is no indication of when this will be.
Fingers crossed it's in the near future and we can get into the revamped shop as soon as possible.
