Following an unexpected hotfix, many are wondering where to find the Enforcer AR in Fortnite.

Hotfixes aren't an unusual occurrence in Fortnite. Epic Games often applies regular updates to the battle royale to ensure smooth gameplay is experienced by those attempting to earn a coveted victory royale. As part of the most recent hotfix, the developer has introduced, the Enforcer AR, a brand-new weapon that has the potential to make an impact throughout a match.

But, before we reveal more about how to get the Enforcer AR in Fortnite, check out our other guides showcasing the best XP map codes to rank up as quickly as possible.

Where to find Enforcer AR in Fortnite

To get your hands on the Enforcer AR in Fortnite, you’ll need to defeat a boss. This boss can be found in the underground base on the new map for the new Chapter 5 game. The name of the boss you should be looking out for to eliminate is Vengeance Jones.

Defeating Jones will make him drop a few things, including the new Enforcer AR. Before you jump into battle, be aware that Jones has other enemies protecting him. Once you've taken care of the opposition, Jones will drop the rifle and you can add it to your inventory.

In addition to defeating Vengeance Jones, you can also find the Enforcer AR as ground loot and in chests if you don't fancy taking on some AI enemies on your quest for victory.

Is the Fortnite Enforcer AR good?

This question might just save you the stress of finding the new Enforcer AR so you don't have to spend hours attempting to defeat Vengeance Jones or opening numerous chests during a match.

In terms of looks, this new weapon is sleek and heavily resembles some rifles you may find in Call of Duty, but that is not why you need it, its performance is your main focus here.

The Enforcer AR is available in all five rarities which results in a varying damage profile depending on which rarity you manage to find.

The highest DPS (154.05), damage (39), reload time (1.98), and structural damage (39), on this new weapon is on the legendary rarity. It has a slow fire rate which isn’t ideal for close-range encounters, but if you've got an SMG or a Shotgun stowed away, this isn't an issue. The magazine size of the Enforcer AR might be a dealbreaker for some as it only features 25 rounds. As always, accuracy is going to be the key to succeeding with the Enforcer AR equipped.

Whether it impacts the current meta remains to be seen. In mid to long ranges, the Enforcer AR certainly has all the characteristics to deal plenty of damage but the lack of mobility leaves you vulnerable to SMGs and Shotguns in those hectic close-quarters battles.
