Listen up, you primitive screwheads! A new Fortnite horror collaboration is coming to the Omniverse. This time, it's the Fortnite Evil Dead collection of items and emotes to spice up your game this Halloween.

Fortnitemares 2022 is already underway, featuring new character skins and items from a range of franchises. The big arrivals include Mr. Meeseeks and Summer from Rick and Morty, and of course Ash from the Evil Dead franchise. But that's not all - there are shiny new chrome-themed items, and the Howler Claws to change up your style. Head to the Reality Tree and see what's going down!

Here is a full list of what's coming with 2022's Fortnitemares event, including skins and what quests you can jump into. There are more Rick and Morty skins to find as well, like the Mecha Morty skin. Take a look at everything that came in Fortnite update 22.20, just in time for Halloween.

When does the Fortnite Evil Dead crossover start?

The Fortnitemares 2022 event is now live and runs until November 1. Remember to update your game before playing to get the 22.20 update in there, with all the new spooky content.

The Evil Dead-themed items will release as paid DLC, though there isn't a specific date or time just yet. Keep checking the Item Shop each time it resets, to see whether it's your lucky day!

This isn't the first horror collaboration that Fortnite has had, either. This Evil Dead crossover is the next in a long list, featuring classic characters like Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield of Resident Evil, Stranger Things' Jim Hopper, and an event based on It Chapter Two.

What skins and items are in the Fortnite Evil Dead crossover?

There looks to be a range of items available for players in the Evil Dead crossover. These are as follows:

  • Ash's Chainsaw Hand as a Pickaxe item
  • The Boomstick shotgun as Back Bling
  • An Evil Dead-themed loading screen titled Hello, Henrietta
  • A new emote (the first in the video) named It's A Trick
  • The Necronomicon Ex-Mortis book as Back Bling

Of course, there is also the Ash Williams skin, based on the character played by Bruce Campbell in the iconic 1981 movie. There seem to be two skin variants so far: a long-sleeved shirt based on his appearance in the first film, and his tattered clothing from the second instalment.

These items are all part of the Knowby Cabin Nightmare set, named after the iconic location in the Evil Dead films.

How to get Fortnite Evil Dead crossover items

The Knowby Cabin Nightmare items are available as paid DLC from the Fortnite store, and are likely a limited-time release for the Fortnitemares Halloween event.

There is no official price yet, but As with most other licensed skin bundles in Fortnite, the whole lot will likely cost 2,200 V-Bucks. The skin on its own will probably go for 1,500 V-Bucks. As it is a major crossover, it may cost a little more, as previous packs and skins have.
