As you may be aware, Fortnite already has a pretty diverse roster of skins, with anime heroes regularly lining up next to recreations of streamers like Ninja and Dr Disrespect and even celebrities like Dwayne Johnson and John Cena.
The result of this can be a rather surreal visual experience, which is undeniably unique, if not a little confusing.
However, if you’re someone who loves the zany visuals of the battle royale, you’re in for a bit of a treat, as, thanks to a new collaboration, the opportunity to play as a goat has arrived.
Are you excited to nab some victory royales as a goat?
The goat in question is Pilgor, the infamous protagonist of the Goat Simulator, which, if you tuned into Gamescom’s Opening Night Live or Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, you might be aware is getting a sequel soon.
So, to celebrate this, Pilgor’s getting a skin in Fortnite, which you can grab early by buying any edition of Goat Simulator 3 via the Epic Games Store and then logging into Fortnite using the same account.
If you’re one of those who likes to wait for the reviews to roll in before buying a game or have a severe aversion to farm animals, don’t worry, as you’ll be able to grab the skin, dubbed ‘A Goat’, at Fortnite’s item shop from November 26 onwards without having to buy Goat Sim.
On the other hand, if the only thing you’re curious about is how Pilgor’s managed to become a Fortnite skin from an in-game lore perspective, you can check out the video below.
If you’re still unsure about what your mates will think of you if you go for this skin, perhaps you should probably bear in mind the wise words of Elin Hamberg, Lead Artist at Goat Simulator developer Coffee Stain North: “If the thought of transforming into a questionably named, half goat/half human hybrid rocking a ragdoll print crop top is still your thing – live your best life. We won't judge.”
Regardless of whether you’re now frantically googling the word ‘goat’ at work in order to tide yourself over until you can get your hands on the skin, make sure to follow us for more updates on both Fortnite and Goat Simulator 3.
