How do I get Kamehameha in Fortnite?

The Kamehameha power drops across the Fortnite map randomly during matches. It will arrive in packages from Capsule Corp sporadically across the map, falling from the sky like care packages also do.

Therefore, there's no way to guarantee that you'll get Kamehameha in a Fortnite match. Especially given how new it is, the chances are a lot of players will hunt down the air drop as soon as it lands. As such, you can expect plenty of competition - and even more gunfire - in your quest to get the powers to yourself.

Once the Kamehameha supply drop falls into the map, you'll be able to see it slowly falling from the sky. From there, it's a case of sprinting to the landing site and fending off any opposition, before holding down the action button to equip the power. It seems to last as long as you remain alive - though having such powers will no doubt keep you going longer.

What does Kamehameha do in Fortnite?

As in the Dragon Ball franchise, the Kamehameha power is an energy beam firing a blue laser to direct towards enemies. Therefore, it's also a very powerful weapon to have in your arsenal.

As per renowned Fortnite leaker Hypex, the Kamehameha beam does 100 damage on impact against an enemy, then a further 40 damage per second afterwards. This means it'll take just a few seconds to eliminate even a fully shielded competitor with it equipped.

The beam doesn't last forever though, with a three second duration. After that you'll have to wait just over a second for it to recharge, which could prove to be a moment of weakness during the heat of battle.

Kamehameha will no doubt be a highly sought-after Dragon Ball power given just how impressive those attacking stats are. Finding it on the island will be a struggle, but that all becomes worth it once you can unleash that blistering damage.
