Fortnite January 2 update patch notes
The patch notes for the January 2 update haven't been officially released at time of writing, but Twitter accounts like FNAssist have documented the changes.
The first (and most interesting) addition is the all-new Enforcer AR. This assault rifle comes in all kinds of rarities, with a higher damage output and accuracy making up for its lower rate of fire. It's well-suited to medium and long-range encounters.
The other eye-catching addition is Flowberry Fizz, a new healing item that must be fizzed up for several seconds to work. It provides the user and their allies continuous shields and a low-gravity effect that makes it possible to jump higher and stay airborne longer. Your best chance of finding Flowberry Fizz in a regular game is to open chests, where it has a 20% chance of being in the loot pool.
Other minor changes include a new lobby background, while the winter-themed Battle Bus and other Winterfest additions have been removed.
