Fortnite Just Released A New Update For June 24, Here's What It Does

A new Fortnite update has been released today, June 24, but players might not have received the update yet as it's only available on select platforms.

For the time being this new update is only available on PlayStation, PC and Xbox consoles, but there's no word on mobile and Nintendo Switch platforms.

This latest patch was announced on the Fortnite Status Twitter account this afternoon along with the details on what the developers are hoping this update will fix.

The official Tweet reads:

We are deploying a maintenance patch on PC, PlayStation consoles and Xbox consoles to address stability issues on Xbox One and to fix the Combat Pro control layout issues.
We will let you know when the update is available on Nintendo Switch.

Stay tuned for more details on today's latest update including file size and any further patch notes should Epic Games choose to share more information. Although based on past history, that's unlikely to be the case.
