Epic has had a hell of a year, but the company's big free-to-play title, Fortnite, is still not on Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store, and the developer is now looking to use influencers to push their side of the argument.
Kinda Funny's Greg Miller shared a tweet showcasing a box of Fortnite freebies that had been sent to him, including a jacket with a rainbow Fortnite logo (reminiscent of Apple's classic logo), and a Samsung Galaxy S7 tablet ā a rival to Apple's iPad.

Inside the white box with minimal styling (another jab at Apple), is a note that reads:
āFortnite was named the Samsung Galaxy Store Game of the Year for 2020."
āIn celebration, weāve teamed up with Samsung to send you a special box of #FreeFortnite gear. While Fortnite may not currently be available on the App Store or Google Play, you can still get the latest Fortnite updates directly from the Epic Games app on the Galaxy Store. Spread the word.ā
It's a controversial tactic that has rubbed many fans of Kinda Funny the wrong way, looking at Miller's replies.
Still, considering the ex-IGN employee has over 1.2 million followers, it's undoubtedly a way to keep the feud between Epic and Apple fresh in people's minds.
The two companies will meet in court on May 3 of next year.
