George R. R. Martin's better known for Game of Thrones but it's widely known that he helped in Elden Ring's development. Making a blog about his work, it's unsurprising that he's only got good things to say about FromSoftware's upcoming game.
As seen on Martin's official blog, the offer to work with FromSoftware in making a world for them was "too exciting to refuse," so a collaboration was soon born. According to Martin, he was excited to work with the Dark Souls series director, Hidetaka Miyazaki.

George R. R. Martin Says Elden Ring "Looks Incredible"
Elaborating further, Martin stated:
Miyazaki and his team from FromSoftware were doing groundbreaking stuff with gorgeous art, and what they wanted from me was just a bit of worldbuilding: a deep, dark, resonant world to serve as a foundation for the game they planned to create.
Basing on Elden Ring'd trailers, Martin and FromSoftware looks successful in pulling off this world design.So far, Martin's satisfied with his works and the Game of Thrones author recommends this "incredible" open world title. That'll be released on February 25th, 2022.
