Ghost of Tsushima: How to Observe Enemy Leaders

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima was Sony's last big first-party exclusive before the PlayStation 5 launched in 2020.

Observing enemy leaders can offer a bonus stance point on top of the one gained by defeating said boss, so it's worth learning how to do it.

You must also note that you can only watch leaders in camps when you have a specific task to do so. You'll see this task listed at the top left of your screen.

Ghost of Tsushima: How To Observe Enemy Leaders

Here's how you observe the enemy leaders:

When you get into Mongol territory, you'll need to stay undetected to be able to observe the leader. You can use your Ghost armour to reduce enemy detection speed.

You can scout from above for safer ways to explore. Jump from rooftop to rooftop for a good view. If you're on the ground, make sure to stay hidden.

The enemy leaders wear shiny gold or silver armour and usually practise their combat skills within the encampment. They also make loud sword sounds and shouts you can hear outside the camp.

Once Jin gets close enough, follow the prompt and press R2 to observe the leader.

This awards a stance point; you can earn a second by killing the boss.
