How to get Frozen Flame in God of War Ragnarok
The Frozen Flame is part of the game's natural progression, and you will end up getting the majority of them throughout the game. They are directly tied to story progress, and are generally a reward for defeating main bosses. You won't miss many if you just play through the story as you normally would.
You can then use Frozen Flame with Sindri and Brok to upgrade your rune damage and unlock more tiers of your skill tree. They are a great sign of progress in the game and necessary to continue to upgrade Kratos. Instead of focusing on them, you should work on your loadout. Namely, you'll want to increase the damage, vitality, and luck of your build.
This all being said, the last Frozen Flame is a little harder to get. You have to put a few Frozen Sparks together to make it.
How to get Frozen sparks in God of War Ragnarok
You can get two Frozen Sparks by just playing through the story. That being said, there are four you can get throughout the world by defeating Hel Tears. They are in:
- Svartalfheim - under the word "Wetlands" on the map for "Aurvangar Wetlands"
- Vanaheim - Just above the Mystic Gateway in The Southern Wilds
- Midgard - Just west of Well of Urd
- Helheim - South East of Helgrind
What are the best Leviathan Axe skills in God of War Ragnarok?
The Leviathan Axe has some great skills both for close and ranged combat. Starting off, Evasive Storm and Whirling Storm are essential skills, greatly improving your evasion. This allows you to deal damage whilst moving.
After this, it's worth investing in more passive skills like Extinguish Flames, Permafrost, and Glacial Permafrost. From here, spend some XP on the ranged skill tree, giving you better damage-dealing opportunities. Your next step should be starting to upgrade your skills with mods.
How to get hacksilver quick in God of War Ragnarok
Hacksilver is necessary to buy new gear and upgrade your loadout. While it doesn't directly tie to your Leviathan Axe, it's no use having a powerful weapon if your other abilities are left wanting.
Unfortunately, hacksilver can be a little limited. If you want more of it, make sure to do the game's side quests, break chests, and unlock new areas. If you really spend your time looting, you should have no problems with hacksilver.
This being said, you can increase the amount of loot you will find by upgrading your luck. Though you often have to take reduced vitality or damage to get a loadout with boosted luck, it's worth it to get more resources.
