Whether you are a casual gamer or a devoted veteran, the 29th of December undoubtedly holds significant precedence within your holiday activities, as 343 Industries and Microsoft prepare themselves for the official launch of the Halo 5 multiplayer beta. However, recent announcements indicate that Microsoft have gifted Xbox One Preview members an early Christmas present.
Tonight, at 4pm EST (9pm GMT), Xbox One Preview members will be invited to participate within the early access period of the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta. Reportedly, all users within the preview program should receive a message directly from Xbox Live containing instructions on how to retrieve the beta. Once downloaded, members will be to enjoy full access to the beta until it closes on the 22nd of December, in preparation for the public launch to owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Unfortunately, for devoted fans of the iconic franchise, the Xbox Live Preview Program is an invitation-only project, which allows selected users to access new content and features before they are publicly released.
Thankfully, Microsoft have also released a new trailer for the upcoming Halo 5 multiplayer beta, as a means to quench our cravings to play the game.
