The next generation of Xbox consoles have been released!
The Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S are out in the open, much to the delight of gamers across the globe.
Despite many getting stuck in with the new consoles, the omission of Halo Infinite has left Halo fans disappointed.
The latest instalment in the storied franchise was intended to launch alongside the new consoles but Microsoft and developer 343 Industries made the tough decision to delay the release of the game until 2021.
Since then, a new release date has yet to be confirmed, much to the annoyance of the Halo community.

Despite the lack of Halo Infinite action, players can still acquire Double XP bonuses to use once the game is released.
Halo has collaborated with energy drinks brand Monster Energy to offer Double XP and codes for unique in-game content.
Although the game has been delayed, the promotion is taking place.

How To Earn Double XP With Monster Energy
- Purchase a promotional can or multipack of Monster Energy.
- Head to the Monster/Halo promotion website.
- Enter the code on the ring pill into the box.
- Click ‘Submit’
- Claim your Double XP and content!

Once claimed, the Double XP and content will be available as soon as Halo Infinite releases.
It is currently unclear as to when a definite release date will be revealed but we can expect it to be within the next 12 months.
Until Infinite is out, there is still plenty of Halo to be played. 343 Industries revealed that Halo 4 will be arriving on PC as part of the Master Chief Collection on November 17th
