It’s been a few years, and fans still don’t know how they feel about Halo Infinite. Some enjoy the new mechanics and free multiplayer, while others think the franchise needs a rest. Even with these mixed opinions, 343 Industries is still working on the game, and they might soon add some previously cut content.

Rebs Gaming claims that an enemy called the Crusher has been in the works for a while. This has been described as a large, aggressive beast that runs on two legs and can be found in the wild. Unfortunately, the Crusher was cut during the early development of Infinite, but plans to bring the creature back have been around for a while.

New evidence from Rebs has suggested that the Crusher will appear in Halo Infinite’s DLC soon, though a date hasn’t been revealed. Fans are aching for something different from the multiplayer shooter, and this giant creature might do the trick. Granted, the Crusher could end up in an entirely new Halo game, but that has yet to be announced.

There have been some interesting developments with the Halo brand lately, with rumors suggesting that Master Chief is coming to PlayStation 5. Now that Xbox is no longer looking to bring players to its console, this is quickly becoming possible. If they decide to port Halo to PS5, we expect to see the collection on Switch 2.

We’re all interested in seeing where 343 Industries goes after Halo Infinite, as the franchise still has millions of fans who will buy an Xbox just for these games. Granted, it takes time to make a good entry in the series, and we don’t want the developers to rush things, but reusing canceled assets would be a good move.

So that’s everything we know about the Crusher being canned in Halo Infinite. For more Xbox news, check out why Xbox moving away from exclusives is a good thing. You can also read about the Capcom franchises that need to come back.
