Square Enix's latest RPG focuses on both a relaxing daily life, set in towns governed by mystical season-controlling crystals called Seaslights, while also having players face off against a looming threat called Quietus: rearing it's head between each season is the 'Season of Death', that threatens all life in Harvestella.
We've got tons more helpful hints to help you get started in Harvestella: here's how to make the hammer, and how to get the fishing rod as well. Oh, and here's how to make money in Harvestella early. The more you make in the first few days, the easier the rest will be.
Harvestella best crops - seed guide and planting schedule
In Harvestella, there are areas dedicated to each season. These are Nemea (Spring), Shatolla (Summer), Lethe Village (Fall), and Holy Capital Argene (Winter). Lethe Village is close enough to the Seaslights to be able to experience all seasons, though Fall is most fitting. Each area sells seeds for its related season.
Crops can only be planted in certain seasons and will die if not harvested before the beginning of one they're not suited to, so make sure you pay attention before attempting to plant a watermelon in winter! Some crops appear in more than one section as they can grow in multiple seasons.
Here are all the seeds for each season that we've found so far, and where to get them from.

How to plant seeds in Harvestella
Planting in Harvestella is super easy, which is great, given it's the main focus of the game.
Right off the bat Cres will teach you the basics, and give you a watering tool and a hoe. All you need to do is hoe the ground, pop the seeds in the hoed plots, and give them a watering. Some crops will need to be watered multiple times before they are ripe.

Each crop takes between one and four in-game days to grow, and some are even harvestable repeatedly. These include the Cucumble, Grape, and Chestnut plants.
There are different biomes as well as different seasons in Harvestella, located in different towns. Shatolla has a Waterside biome, where we can plant crops on the beach, and there is a Cave biome located elsewhere for drier crops like wheat and spices.
