Shriekers are a new Terminid that are like a blend between the already existing Scavenger and a bat. This new enemy comes with wings, and it sure knows how to use these wings in attacking its targets, which is mainly you and your team members.

How to kill Helldivers 2 Shriekers

Considering the nature of these Terminids, most players might be afraid of them. Most players might also feel that killing them will be a difficult task as they fly. We’re here to tell you that it isn’t hard to kill the Shriekers that will spawn in Terminid territory once you’re close to their nests.

To kill the Shriekers all you need to do is to shoot them and there is no weak point you're aiming to shoot. As long as you can get a couple of clear shots on the Shriekers, you will be able to kill the creature. However, the main issue for most players will be that Shriekers will attack you in groups, considering that their nests spawn in proximity to each other, so getting close to one nest means that you’re close to a few others.

For this, we advise that you switch to your long-range weapon once you notice that the Shriekers have spawned and are ready to attack. This will help you to hit as many Shriekers as you can before they come in for their swooping attack. Weapons like the R-63 Diligence Counter Sniper and the R-63 Diligence are great long-range weapons that you can try out when dealing with a large group of Shriekers.

Without a long-range weapon, you might struggle to kill these creatures. Short-range weapons are also effective, but you’ll need to wait for the Shriekers to be close to you before you can shoot at them. Shriekers are now here in Helldivers 2, and they are here to stay, get ready to encounter them as you play missions in Terminid territory.
