Helldivers 2 01.000.102 patch notes

Arrowhead Game Studios has updated Helldivers 2 with another minor patch to keep things balanced. Here’s a closer look at what’s changed:

Balancing

  • Reduced the spawn rate of Chargers and Bile Titans on difficulty 7 and up.
  • Reduced the risk of spawn spikes for Chargers and Bile Titans.
  • Other enemy types will appear more frequently to compensate for the change in spawn rates.
  • Charger’s heads will now have lower health, making it possible to kill them with a single well-placed shot from certain weapons.

Gameplay

  • The Electronic Countermeasures operation modifier has been temporarily removed since it has not been working as intended. It will be reworked and reintroduced in a future update.

Fixes

  • Fixed missing text on certain HUD and UI elements.
  • Fixed subtitle and VO mismatches during various news videos.
  • Fixed crashing issues that occur mid-gameplay or when being deployed to missions.

Known issues

  • Game crashes when trying to use a stim while in an Exosuit.
  • Pink artefacts may appear in the sky after setting off a large explosion.
  • Automaton Dropships can disappear and slide in after being shot down.
  • Shots from arc-based weapons may not count towards kills in post-mission stats.
  • Players added as friends through a friend code cannot be unfriended.
  • Cross-platform friend invites may not show up in the friend request tab.
  • Joining a multiplayer game session via PS5 Activity Card may result in players being unable to select loadout or return to ship.
  • Exosuit can destroy itself by firing rockets while turning.
  • Text chat box display is obstructed by the cinematic letterboxing during extraction.
  • Some cases of being unable to accept friend requests.
