Hitman 3: How To Get A Sniper Rifle
Sniper Rifles, like many other weapon unlocks, are tied to your in-game Mastery rank.
Levelling up by playing multiple runs of the same location will unlock new options for Agent 47.
The good news is that if you've imported your save data from Hitman 1 and 2, you may have already unlocked a sniper rifle.
The earliest one that you unlock is on the Paris mission, at level 5, with progressively more deadly rifles opening up as you progress.
If Hitman 3 is your first game, however, you can still unlock the following:
Dubai:
Level 15 – Druzhina 34 DTI
Dartmoor:
Level 20 – /Bartoli Woodsman Hunting Rifle
Chongqing:
Level 20 – Hackl Leviathan Sniper Rifle Covert
Mendoza:
Level 20 – Sieger 300 Viper

Hitman 3: How To Use A Sniper Rifle
So you've unlocked your sniper rifle, but you'll notice it won't appear on the game's planning screen.
That's because, due to the weapon's size, it'll need to be stowed in a briefcase. When selecting gear, opt for a "Container", which will allow you to store the rifle.
If you don't think you'll be able to move through the level with the briefcase, you can also send it to an on-site stash.
