Hitman 3: Players Can Now Import Hitman and Hitman 2 Levels On PC

UPDATE:

Good news, Agent 47. Your existing World of Assassination missions can now be pulled into Hitman 3.

Find out how here.

Original Story Follows:

Hitman 3 launched last month, but PC players have been waiting to find out how they can import their levels and content from the first two games.

With the franchise moving from Steam to a timed-exclusive on the Epic Games Store, there have been some issues, with IO initially offering discounted "Access Passes" to players who understandably didn't want to have to buy the content again.

Hitman 3: IO Promises Location Import Functionality By End Of February

So, while PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X players can import their data almost automatically, it's been a little trickier for PC players, but IO has now committed to a new timeline via an update to a forum post.

"Whilst we’ve been busy launching Hitman 3, we’ve also been working on the promised solution for allowing PC players to import locations that they already own into Hitman 3 on Epic," the developer explains.

"We’ve got that solution worked out and it’s currently being tested and verified from all angles to make it as robust as possible. In terms of timing, it’s definitely a case of sooner rather than later. Even with the longest estimates we’ve looked at, the solution will be fully rolled out before the end of February. We’ll keep you updated with the next steps."

That's positive, then, and should give PC players hope that things are progressing nicely.

In our review, we called Hitman 3 "a confident end to a trilogy that has steadily gained in reputation with each entry".

"It’s a beautiful, dark, and frequently testing entry in a franchise that has matured over two decades, and is undoubtedly the best way to kick off 2021."

IO Interactive's next game is an original James Bond project.
