There are several ways to earn money in Hogwarts Legacy, but one of the most consistent ways is to learn how to sell beasts in Hogwarts Legacy. Selling low-stat gear, looting chests, and charging sidequest characters for your services all work well, but selling beasts is an endless industry in this game.
You should know before selling magical beasts that there are some quests you need to complete first before acquiring, breeding, and selling your beasts. Be sure to allocate some time to learn how to do this.

How to sell beasts in Hogwarts Legacy
Before you sell your beasts, know that there are some prior steps you need to complete first.
You must first acquire the nab-sack by completing "The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom" quest. Without clearing it, you won't be able to catch beasts and sell them, putting a big hole in this strategy to strike it rich.
You'll be able to encounter this quest quite early on in-game, though, so don't worry too much. Make sure you're on Level 15 to access the aforementioned quest and unlock the ability to sell your beasts, then head over to Brood and Peck at Hogsmeade to sell any beasts you rescue.
Magical beasts can offer up to 120 Galleons per sale. Some of the other magical beasts you may find could be rarer, but they still pay the same amount when you sell them, so don't go out of your way to track them down unless you're just aiming to complete your collection.
