Are you looking to optimize your gameplay in Holocure? Our updated Holocure tier list ranks every character based on performance, abilities, and effectiveness.
HoloCure is popular because of its many winning characters, formulas, and items. Update 0.7 also introduces an additional nine new characters and implements a new balance. We will also review each character's overall usage so you will know which characters will be easy to use when the game gets harder based on their strength.
As you might expect, quite a few opinions are on a list like this, and we may miss what makes a character work so well. Let us know what you think and what we should try.
If you're playing the game and looking into how Holocure weapons work or how to install Holocure, this is what you should know. Likewise, we also have guides on how to unlock the Cutting Board in Holocure if you're into the two characters who can make the most of it.

Nanashi Mumei
Nanashi Mumei has been on the top of many players’ personal HoloCure tier list.
Though they have a lower attack multiplier than most, they make up for it in increased speed, a super solid starting weapon and a very powerful special attack. Being able to clear the board every 80 seconds, you get a get-out jail-free card to use at will.
Ninomae Inanis
Though you may struggle a little bit initially, Ninomae Inanis is an excellent character capable of buffing their normal attack into an incredibly deadly weapon. Luckily, her good starting speed can keep you safe until you level up a bit.
Gawr Gura
Gawr Gura has decent attack and speed stats that make up for a slightly limited health pool. The special attack deals 500% damage and increases her attack and speed for 15 seconds, making a nice combo move every 45 seconds.
Tsukumo Sana
Further down the HoloCure tier list is Tsukumo Sana: who has an orbit attack, allowing you to clear out a small area. This is a great passive ability that helps keep her safe. She also has a handful of extra skills, granting constant damage.
IRyS
IRyS has some pretty great attack and speed stats and even has a solid attack but it's not quite as strong long-term as other characters. Her special skill is also solid but a little weak in comparison to others. She is good in a few areas but not excellent in many.
Ceres Fauna
With the ability to heal on command, Ceres Fauna is an interesting character that tends to be a little more defensive than most. This is a fun playstyle but can leave her a little caught out when she's levelling up at a slower rate. Make sure to lean into her defensive abilities to get the most out of her.
Hakos Baelz
Hakos Baelz has an interesting attack that isn't consistent enough to rely on. Being based on RNG, you can't fit into a groove without the worry of losing it to a few bad throws. Their ultimate is also interesting but varies based on your own equipment, a risky setup.
Ouro Kronii
Much like our last pick, Ouro Kronii's semi-random attack can leave you without a clear path forward. Her ultimate is also pretty good but takes a little while to actually get going.
Amelia Watson
Amelia Watson is a great starting character due to her relative easiness. She is easy to understand but doesn't really excel at anything. She is best used to get used to the game.
Takanashi Kiara
Takanashi Kiara is a fascinating character that is let down by a mediocre attack. Being limited in range, you can't take on enemies at a distance. Her ultimate is an interesting way of getting out of trouble but she is designed to be played at close range, feeling a little mismatched.
Mori Calliope
Mori Calliope has an arcing attack that can be useful but fails if used too close to the enemy. Given how much of the late game requires close and far-range shots, this makes her pretty useless at the wrong distance.
How do I unlock more HoloCure characters?
You can unlock new HoloCure characters through the Gacha menu. You'll find it under "Shop" on the main menu, just beneath the Play button.
From here, you'll spend 1000 Coins rolling a random character from either the Myth or Council + Project Hope banners.
What do character dupes do in Holocure?
The character you get is completely random, but any duplicate characters you pull will cause that character to get a boost of between 1-20% to their HP, ATK or SPD stats.
