Housing Taxes Reduced In New World Until December Update To Fix Duplication Exploits

During a maintenance update this week, Amazon Games has reduced Housing Taxes temporarily in order to fix new bugs and exploits with the system.

This will affect companies who own the towns, so company income from homeownership has been increased to ensure they do not suffer from this change.

Players can expect things to return to normal in December when a new patch will go live to fix this issue and hopefully many more, including re-enabling trophy trading again.

There is no date set for this next update and with the recent release of patch 1.1 Into the Void, players can expect a mid to late December release of this patch.

Housing Taxes Reduced In New World Until December Update To Fix Duplication Exploits

"To address the recent issue regarding duplications and exploits, we have temporarily lowered the weekly housing taxes by 90% until our monthly December update. We want to say thank you and we are sorry to our players who have been impacted by the recent issues. Company income from home ownership has been also raised to prevent loss of income during this period. This is a portion of additional compensation we will be rolling out in future patches." Community Manager Tosch had this to say on the forums.

New World is still suffering from bugs and exploits, and players are hoping to see a large range of changes come with the December update, instead of more new content coming to the game.

into the Void is now live on all servers and players can test out the new Void Gauntlet, new quest improvements, faster running on roads, and more.
