How to Get Bait Maker
The Bait Maker is a piece of equipment that allows you to create fish-specific bait. These specific baits help you save time and make your fishing more efficient. However, you'll need to reach Fishing Level 6 to unlock the recipe before you can craft this item.
To increase the level quickly, accumulate fishing experience points. This can be done by repeatedly catching high-quality fish or picking up items from Crab Pots. When you have reached Level 6, the recipe for Bait Maker will become available.
To craft a Bait Maker, you will need to collect the following items:
- 3 Iron Bars: Obtained by smelting 5 Iron Ore with 1 Coal within a Furnace. Iron Ore can be collected between levels 41-79 in the Mines.
- 3 Coral: After spending 300 wood to repair the Beach bridge, coral can be collected from the Tide Pool on the Beach.
- 1 Sea Urchin: Collected from the Beach's Tide Pool area.
After obtaining these resources, use the Crafting menu to create your Bait Maker. Once crafted, you can place it anywhere on your farm for easy access.
How to Use Bait Maker
Using the Bait Maker is simple. Select a fish from your inventory that you'd like to turn into bait. Head to the Bait Maker, insert the fish and wait for around 10 in-game minutes. Once the process is complete, you'll receive 5-10 pieces of fish-specific bait, like Red Snapper Bait or Carp Bait, depending on the fish used.
You can use fish-specific bait to increase the chances of catching some specific fish that is rare and valuable. For example, you can use Catfish bait to increase the likelihood of catching Catfish, which would otherwise take a lot of time and energy.
It is important to note that the bait you have created from Legendary Fish does not allow you to catch another Legendary Fish.
