In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, having a Roserade as a part of your team as you go to take the title of League Champion is almost a must. They're a strong grass-type with powerful moves, and their pre-evolutions - Budew and Roselia - are not too hard to get your hands on either.

In this guide, we explain how to get a Budew or Roselia, and evolve them into Roserade.

Roselia is an easy encounter in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and their pre-evolution, Budew, even more so. Here are a list of places where the Pokémon can be found:

  • Trophy Garden
  • Route 212
  • Route 221
  • Route 224
  • Route 225
  • Route 229
  • Grand Underground: Bogsunk Cavern, Sunlit Cavern, Grassland Cave, and Swampy Cave.

Personally, we have found that Roselia's are most common in the Trophy Garden. Alongside the likes of Pikachu, too!

To get a Roserade in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the evolution path is as follows. If starting with a Budew, it'll evolve into Roselia with a high friendship level when levelling up during the daytime. Then, to evolve a Roselia, you'll need to acquire a Shiny Stone from the Grand Underground and give it to Roselia, so they can evolve into Roserade.
