How to save your game
Your game will save at the end of every day when you go to sleep in your house. To do this, follow these simple steps:
- Head back to your house on your farm (wherever that may be)
- Walk to your bed until your avatar is half hidden by covers
- A prompt should appear that asks you if you want to sleep
- Select yes
- Once the screen goes dark, you should see green text appear in the bottom left-hand corner that says "progress saved"
- After the screen returns to you your house, your progress has been saved.
- You are free to quit or continue playing.
Does it have autosave?
In the common terms of autosaving, no it doesn't. However, you do set off a type of autosave each time you sleep at your house as you don't need to manually select anything at this point to save the game.
But be warned, you cannot save a game halfway through a day. So you'll need to make sure you wrap up what you're doing and head to bed to save your progress.
How to load a saved game
When you enter the game, you should be taken to the main menu. At the bottom of the screen in this menu, you should see "Load". Click on this and it will take you to a screen that looks like this:
Once here, you will be able to see all of the current save games for your profile. It will tell you what your character name is, and what season and day it is. Also, it will tell you how long you have been playing the game.
