The long-awaited Shiba Inu internet-breaking news is being built, just in slow motion, according to SHIB lead Shytoshi Kusama.
Posting in the Welly Discord after the restaurant announced a 15% ownership for Shiba Inu, Shytoshi said people are already watching the internet-breaking project occur.
With the ShibArmy waiting for news on Shibarium and the Shiba Inu Games, here’s a closer look.
Internet-Breaking Shiba News
In the Welly Discord, one member asked Shytoshi about the internet-breaking news. In response, he said:
“You're watching it being built in slow motion...most people just haven't realised it yet.”
He followed up, stating: “We are actually building multiple things at once without a huge VC investment or corporate overlord. This takes time. Like, lots of it. But I think all will be pleased.”
The prospect of internet-breaking SHIB news first came about in February, when Shytoshi said they had a deal locked in that would break the internet.
While some suspected the John Richmond NFT collaboration with SHIB was the internet-breaking news, it seems this is not entirely accurate, or just forms a part of it. Alternatively, this internet-breaking mantra may just have been adopted for a wider part of the ecosystem as a reference to this previous statement.
The mention of this happening in slow motion lines up with the strategy for projects on the Shiba Inu roadmap. Rather than committing to release dates and rushing projects, the team appears to instead have adopted a more cautious approach that avoids over-promising quick turnarounds for its various endeavours.
Of course, the Shiba team has released a string of new projects over the past month. The Shiba Inu Metaverse began its land sale in mid-April. This was followed by the launch of the Shiba burn portal, which has now destroyed over $500,000 in SHIB.
