Is Warzone Coming To COD Mobile?

Call of Duty: Warzone is a good time and all but gaming PCs aren’t cheap, neither are the next-gen consoles, so some fans have taken to Call of Duty: Mobile for all of their multiplayer shooting needs.

While COD: Mobile does suffer from some of the usual trappings that plague mobile games - in-game purchases, ads, etc., - it’s still a pretty competent experience and a pretty good shooter to have on your phone, all things considered.

Is Warzone Coming To COD Mobile?

It looks like things are about to get better for the game, as a COD leaker ModernWarzone has told fans that Activision might be bringing Warzone to COD: Mobile.

To be more specific, Activision is asking fans if they want new battle royale maps to be added to COD: Mobile, even name-dropping Warzone’s Verdansk and the Blackout map from Black Ops 4, the first Call of Duty game that specialized in battle royale gameplay.

Having Warzone content on COD: Mobile is a pretty sweet move since it gives mobile players a taste of what the frenetic shooter’s map is like, though many fans would probably rather see the full Warzone game on mobile devices.

It’s not an impossibility since games like Fortnite and PUBG have managed to find a home on phones but when you consider how successful COD: Mobile already is, Activision won’t want to lose another source of income.

Until Activision actually announces Warzone on mobile devices, it looks like having the Verdansk map on COD: Mobile is the next best thing.

Thankfully, COD: Mobile is far from a dead game, with players loving the visuals and comfortable controls, along with the number of unlockables that they can grind or pay for.

You can get Call of Duty: Mobile right now on iOS and Android devices as a free download, with in-game purchases available.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now as a free-to-play game on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
