Breakdown

  • Kevin Durant reveals his favorite Warzone loadouts
  • The NBA All-Star changes his loadouts very often
  • Durant also wishes his Operator skin was bigger

Basketball star Kevin Durant is a big fan of Warzone and Call of Duty in general, recently sharing his favorite loadouts for these multiplayer shooters. Despite being a celebrity with plenty of obligations to fill, Durant plays these games every day and even has an operator skin that can be used.

Appearing in the Boardroom podcast, the NBA All-Star talked about his love for the Activision Blizzard franchise, what weapon loadouts he likes to use, and more. Fans will be happy to know that his loadout choices don’t actually break the meta, so this isn’t an overpowered pistol situation.

While Durant does change his loadouts frequently, the NBA star said he likes to use the BP50, HRM-9, Pulemyot 762, and TAQ Evolvere, when playing Warzone. Since he changes his loadouts frequently, players don’t have to take his advice right away, but it’s good to see him be passionate.

Breaking the meta happens quite often, with a recent weapon mod proving to be a brilliant close-range killer. That’s just the nature of multiplayer games like CoD, so we’re sure even more weapons will be broken as the years go on.

Durant also mentions how he was able to get an Operator skin in the game, claiming that he spent time with the devs while Modern Warfare 3 was in development. He’s not the first major celebrity to appear in the shooter, but NBA fans don’t mind, as they can shoot their friends with this superstar basketball player.

The athlete is pleased with Warzone and Call of Duty right now, though he does wish some changes were made to his Operator skin. Apparently, he would have liked it if the Durant Operator was more accurate with his real-life height. However, Activision Blizzard said it would make the skin too vulnerable, hence, not having an accurate height in-game.

Warzone is available now as a free-to-play download. The multiplayer shooter is also available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
