Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was the sequel no one expected to see, yet one hardcore gamers can’t wait to get their hands on. The first game felt different from everything available then and even now, with difficult combat and a dedication to realism that still garners mixed opinions. Considering how the first game was a truly unique experience that can turn off regular players, reception to this sequel has many curious.

Deliverance 2 is set to give fans more of what they want, which means another difficult RPG focusing on realism. Players hoping they can just get by slashing everything in sight will be disappointed. On the other hand, those who crave that odd medieval experience its predecessor gave will enjoy this sequel.

Because Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is faithful to its predecessor, we’re surprised reviews on this game are so high. The Metacritic score of 89 wasn't expected since this is a clunky-feeling RPG that can take a while to get going. So, those who want some sort of medieval knight simulator are really going to enjoy this.

Fans interested in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can pick it up on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. It’s an RPG that fits the current-gen moniker, looking like something previous systems couldn’t handle. That’s somewhat fitting since more casual gamers might not be able to handle this title’s steep learning curve.

Should fans want more of this game, a DLC roadmap has confirmed that there’s plenty of content coming. This includes free content like a barber, horse racing, and a hardcore mode for those who think the base game is too easy. Later on, the RPG is getting some big expansions for those who want even more stories for Henry.
