Halo Infinite's Lead Narrative Designer Leaves 343 Industries for Riot Games

Halo Infinite's lead narrative designer Aaron Linde has confirmed that he's left 343 Industries. Announced through his official Twitter, Linde confirmed his new work through a Neon Genesis Evangelion-themed episode recap video, revealing he's going to Riot Games moving forward.

It's unknown what specific project he'll be working on, though Riot has its own first person shooter title with Valorant. Considering the game lauds itself as both an esports title with a story element that's been slowly revealed through animated shorts and new character trailers, Linde could potentially make a good fit.

While Halo Infinite's free-to-play multiplayer launched in beta back in November, Infinite's campaign arrived last month. That's available at full price through the Microsoft Store, physically, or through Xbox Game Pass.

For now, we'll potentially have to wait on the later animated shorts to see Linde's work in action. Moving forward, Riot Games is slowly preparing to introduce the next agent after Chamber, who's said to use electricity to speed up during fights. We'll keep you informed when we hear more.
