LEGO Fortnite - how to make a Boat
With the enormous open-world maps of LEGO Fortnite, you'll be looking for more ways to travel so you can explore everything. If you want to cross bodies of water, look no further, because we'll show you the steps involved in making a boat.
There are several ways to make a boat because, after all, it's like building with LEGO blocks. As long as it has everything it needs, it will run on water. You can adjust the build to your liking.
Here are the components for making a boat in LEGO Fortnite:
- Dynamic Foundation – The boat's main structure. Materials for one: 9 Flexwood.
- Medieval Rails – Fences that serve as protective barriers around the boat. Materials for one: 1 wood.
- Thrusters – You can choose between small and large thrusters to place on one side of the boat. Materials for one small thruster: 1 Wooden Rod, 1 Torch, 1 Blast Powder. Materials for one large thruster: 3 Wooden Rods, 1 Torch, 2 Blast Powder.
- Activation Switch – For steering the boat. Materials for one: 1 Wood, 1 Blast Powder.
Ideally, you should start building your boat near the waterbody that you intend to navigate through, as you'll have an easier time repositioning your constructed boat. Begin with the groundwork, where you'll place the Dynamic Foundation.
Next, attach railings to the sides of the boat; two on each side and one atop the Dynamic Foundation on the opposite side. You don't want to fall off your boat in the middle of the sea, so make sure your railings are well in place.
Now, you can place thrusters on the bottom part of the boat to ensure your boat runs smoothly. Position them on one side so that the boat runs in a straight line.
To extend the boat's structure, you can add two more long foundation pieces on either side of the middle one, creating a 'floor' that accommodates the Activation Switches. Integrate two additional thrusters at the rear end of the boat, positioned between the large foundation pieces.
Arrange three Activation Switches in a 'V' shape on top of the boat, with the red end facing upward. The middle switch governs the back thruster, while the other two control the boat's right and left navigation.
