How to level up in Lies of P
To level up in Lies of P, speak with Sophia and you will be taken to the menu where upgrades can be made. You can increase the level of each stat, which will in turn make your player level higher.
It can be a little bit of a tedious process if you're one of those types that hates going back and forth, but the process of levelling up in Lies of P is fairly simple. The only requirement is that you gain access to Hotel Krat, which happens in the opening stages of the game. To improve your stats, you'll want to see your pal Sophia.
Sophia can be found in the foyer of Hotel Krat, where you can find the hotel's Stargazer. She likes to wander a bit, but you'll undoubtedly find her standing next to the Stargazer or somewhere along the first staircase at the rear of the room.
It's worth noting, however, that the price of the upgrade is not determined by the stat you are looking to improve but by the player level you are on. So whether your vitality is at 10 or 16, it will be the same price, but if your player level is at 20, the price will be lower than when you're on level 32.
How to earn currency in Lies of P
One thing you need to know about levelling up in Lies of P is that it's not free. Once you get into the game you'll roll your eyes and say "typical," as Neowiz Games have been ruthless in not offering any help to us poor players trying to beat their game (we're looking at you, difficulty settings).
The silver lining, though, is that you'll naturally accumulate Ergo to purchase upgrades as you beat enemies. The less-than-silver lining is that you'll lose it all if you die, but I hear that it might be possible to recover your lost Ergo. Nonetheless, Ergo is the key, so collect as much as you can.
