Aloha Links are a great way to increase Ichiban's personality traits

Aloha Links are special NPCs you can interact with in several ways that will grant bonuses to Ichiban's personality traits (Passion, Confidence, Charisma, Style, Intellect, and Kindness). Becoming friends withll grant a random +5 to any trait, but turning them into buddies will add an extra +10.

How to make Aloha Links friends?

While you're walking around Hawaii you'll run into NPCs with a small indicator above their heads, pressing the square button on PS4/5 or X in Xbox consoles will let you become friends with them.

There are special NPCs that have different requirements, like animals. You'll run into chickens or dogs around Hawaii. To become friends with them you need to give them food (bird food, for example).

Some shopkeepers will require you to buy stuff at their stores to become friends.

How to improve Aloha Links friendships

For the majority of friends, say hi to them again to increase the friendship level. Animals/special NPCs will require more food and the shopkeepers will need you to buy more items.

You can also save friends who are getting harassed by enemies, doing this will massively increase the friendship bar and will reward you with some Iron Chunk to craft and upgrade weapons.

There are 200 Aloha Links friends scattered throughout Hawaii. Each section of the map has its own NPCs, however, most don't stand around the same area so you'll have to scour the designated location to find them. Not only the streets but look for them inside shopping centers, food spots, and convenience stores.

These are all the Aloha Links we could find, we'll be updating this guide as we discover more. We also added the requirements for all in case you need to do something else besides greeting.
