Can you visit Kamurocho in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth?
The answer is yes. Like other Yakuza entries, Kamurocho plays an important role in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. However, you cannot go to Kamurocho until you make some significant progress in the game. You unlock access to Kamurocho once you start Kiryu's storyline after starting Chapter 8 of the game.
Once you unlock Kiryu in chapter 8 and start his storyline, you need to find a taxi. Find a taxi, hail it and open up the travel menu. Scroll all the way down, and you will find an option to 'Travel to Kamurocho' added at the bottom of the list. Just select it, and you'll find yourself in the iconic Red Light District of the Yakuza universe.
While the fresh new coat of paint with Hawaii and the Honolulu Islands feels great and is done in a very classic Yakuza fashion, it feels good to be back in Kamurocho and relive the good old days of Kiryu beating up mobs of thugs in these streets. Once here, you can interact and find all the usual locations with some changes and brand-new missions to pick up if you feel like reliving the experience of shenanigans in Kamurocho.
